Roswell UFO I-Beam

After recently visiting Roswell, NM I was interested in doing some 3D prints of UFO related items. I wanted to print the I-Beam that Jesse Marcel Sr. (AAF Intelligence Officer) found and showed his family in 1947 but could not find any free versions on the internet. So, I decided to make one and upload it to Thingiverse. This model is actual size (2 7/8 inches long) and the glyphs are faithfully reproduced per the I-Beam diagram found in the Roswell UFO Museum. Due to the detail and small model size, I recommend you use the highest resolution your printer is capable of in order to maximize the clarity of the glyphs. Model orientation is correct for printing and no supports are required. Looks nice with a silver-colored PLA filament. There are two versions of this model, one with indented glyphs and one with raised glyphs. The raised glyphs may be easier to color with a felt pen if you desire. The glyphs were said to have a violet color which stood out from the silver beam color. In the 1970's after his retirement from the military and when he felt it was safe to do so, Jesse Marcel Sr. stated that he believed the items found out in the New Mexico desert in 1947 were of extraterrestrial origin.
