Rostock Universal Endstop Holder \ This versatile endstop-holder enables you to securely attach any endstop to your Rostock. Certain Rostock-variants or endstops may pose difficulties when attaching an endstop, making this holder a crucial addition. Initially designed for the "Sainsmart Mechanical Endstop PCB," this design can be easily mounted even without disassembling your entire printer. Its rods can bend slightly outward, allowing you to insert it at about the center while the platform is moved to the bottom. This convenient design has proven successful for me in numerous instances. Adjusting most variables is relatively straightforward (rod-diameter, offset between them, height, mounting hole-sizes and more), although positioning the holes necessitates a bit of manual intervention. Nevertheless, even individuals with minimal SCAD experience can accomplish this with relative ease, thanks to clear instructions and detailed comments within the SCAD-file. In its standard configuration, this holder accommodates my "Zam Kossel Alt" Rostock variation with the mentioned endstops. Please visit www.thingiverse.com/thing:108724 for further details about Zam Kossel Alt. Visit Sainsmart's website at http://www.sainsmart.com/3d-printing/sainsmart-mechanical-endstop-for-cnc-3d-printer-reprap-makerbot-prusa-mendel-ramps.html to explore more information regarding the specified endstops. If necessary, a cable tie can be used to further secure the holder in place. To simplify screw insertion, I've added conical sinks to the holes, though these features are entirely optional. With M3 screws and this cone design, it should be effortless to get them in place; however, cutting into plastic may be required.
