The fan duct enables attachment of a 40mm fan above the extruder on a rostock-mini platform, directing air flow downward to maintain low heat beneath the extruder. Set cooling at 25% for optimal performance; adjust to 100% if required. View a video demonstrating this cooling method here. To install, print the selected STL design with or without wire slot. For the latter, disconnect bowden tube and wires, then slip duct over them before reconnection. Securely attach duct to platform using four M3 screws (16mm length) through extra holes on bottom. Mount a 40mm fan on top with four M2.5 screws (16mm length).
