I struggled for hours trying to print ninjaflex on my rostock max v2, even with the filament support mods people suggested, I still had no luck. Having designed this extruder myself, it hasn't given me any trouble with printing soft or normal filaments. I used the factory red lever from the ezstruder assembly and its spring along with other hardware left over from the rostock kit. If you don't have that hardware on hand, you can easily source it at a local hardware store. Instructions: To complete this project, you'll need to drill out the bottom of the extruder to fit the tubing coupler properly into place. I found it was best to do this by hand instead of trying to print a hole with the correct size. While it worked initially, over time, printing a hole could weaken it - so far, drilling and tapping the hole by hand has been successful without issues. You can refer to the photos for further guidance - I used two zip ties to secure the nema 17 motor in place since the rostock mounts were no longer an option. This setup has proven sturdy enough that designing new motor mounts never became a priority.
