I designed a slimmer fan mount due to enclosure constraints. Three of these mounts are required because the fan blows just off to one side of the nozzle. It was designed specifically to work with this mount for the E3D V6. You can view it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1907968 Even if you don't need extra clearance, this design might be useful. The snap-on design fits snugly over the fan mount tabs and requires no screws. A Freecad file is included with the design. I found it a bit more complicated than usual, so it may have some flaws. It was created using Freecad's dev version for Git on October 17, 2017.
