I crafted this mod for my original Rostock Max V2 heatbreak layer fan mount, using it straight from the box. After switching to an E3D hotend, I flipped the factory-standard fan mount upside-down to accommodate LED light installations and that made it impossible to utilize the standard fan mounting solution.
