Rostock Max V1 V2 V3 LCD Knob
thingiverse
When I hired movers, they broke the encoder for the LCD on my Rostock Max V2. After replacing the encoder, I needed a knob that would get the job done quickly. This knob features a grippy texture and an extended lever that allows you to rapidly cycle the knob for Z height calibrations in no time. Just point your index finger and spin it around in circles. It takes less than 4 seconds for me to get under 2mm from the bed when recalibrating, which is pretty impressive. I'm actually surprised how well this worked out, though a pair of curved levers would be even better. I printed it in ABS 0.2 mm layers and it came out great with a perfect fit. The knob popped right on with a nice press fit, no support needed: the top of the D-shaped hole is chamfered.
