Rostock Max spool "cartridge" system

Rostock Max spool "cartridge" system

I created this a long time ago because I thought the "wooden arm" on the Rostock Max was pretty subpar. I designed it to fit into the same slots that the wooden spool holder arm fits into, making it easy to change out spools and have them ride super smoothly on bearings. To use this, you'll need 5/16ths threaded rod, nuts, and 608 "skate" bearings. You can often get these for free at your local skate shop - they might not be perfect, but they'll work just fine for this purpose. You can see I have a pretty impressive collection of them myself. I included a few hub sizes here, but I don't use Openscad, so you're on your own there. There are already several parametric spool hubs out there, like these: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27748 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25843 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1405931 Thanks!
