Rostock Max Part Fan

The three fan configuration that came with my ball-joint and HE280 hotend upgrade was a huge disappointment when it came to layer cooling, because the fans weren't pointing anywhere near the layers as they were being laid down by the nozzle. I decided to take matters into my own hands and used a 30mm blower fan along with this shroud to significantly improve bridging performance. The fan is snapped securely in place, and one 3/8" screw from the existing fan mount was used to attach it to one of the fan stand-offs. I designed this solution using OnShape's powerful CAD software, which can be accessed at https://cad.onshape.com/documents/45acfeba4a65aff464d8db20/w/6cea6ca873e9a11d24461b39/e/6c328c49a95d5f45c5ff41fe.
