The EZStruder mounting system is minimalistic, allowing you to place it on Rostock Max's top while organizing wires yourself. The spool holder suits small 1lb Taulman spools too. To install, use 6 M4 bolts and nuts for attaching the parts to the top plate. There are three spots on the printer's top where you can mount the extruder and spool; ideally, place the spool at the front. This leaves two other spots for the extruder(s). For smooth filament passage, avoid stacking the spool and extruder. In a dual extruder setup, a spool may be placed over another extruder. Print both components with two shells and 25% infill, though the spool post may require more robustness.
