Replaces a Rostock Max V2 side panel, allowing two DPS-1200FB server power supplies to seamlessly slot in and latch securely into place. Exhausting hot air directly out of the printer, these power supplies provide essential 12V and 24V rails. One must be modified for series connection to deliver stable 24V output. Utilizing the lower (ground referenced) supply's 12V standby output, I power my DuetWiFi board through a robust 5v 5A Pololu regulator, ensuring reliable connectivity. Additionally, a compact 2-channel 5V optoisolated relay board is employed to grant the Duet control over main power switching for both units, providing effortless on/off functionality. A convenient IEC Y cable efficiently powers both supplies from a single outlet, streamlining printer operation and minimizing clutter.
