Rostock Max Dual HE280
thingiverse
Uh oh! I'm diving into design mode again without wrapping up my previous projects - a bit of a bad habit of mine. Check out this dual hot end mount, specifically the HE280. It requires only minimal modifications to the stock effector platform. I could have easily placed it below the effector platform and avoided the cramped space, but that would mean sacrificing precious height. Since I never print anything massive, losing an inch or two isn't a huge deal, but what if I need it someday? Not worth the risk. As it stands, you'd be giving up the accelerometer board - not ideal. Maybe moving it way above the effector platform could work, allowing bowden tubes to loop around it. Worth exploring, at least. Work in Progress here. Any feedback is welcome! This might not go anywhere, but it was a fun couple of hours spent experimenting and learning.
