The spool winding device ensures stability during fishing line installation. To use it, turn the spool with holes facing upwards and wind 5 times counterclockwise at base and 5 times clockwise at end. This positions the spool for roller placement in the middle of travel (approximately 9.5 inches from bottom bracket). Slide the clamp over wound spool, secure with a zip tie under roller, then attach line to roller using surgeon knots. Once completed, remove clamp and tension roller while testing its movement up and down; re-tension if necessary.
