Rostock EZStruder Handle
thingiverse
Based on the EZStruder Knob by h3ss, I made an adjustment to his design, adding a notch that securely fits onto the stepper's notched section. This improved interface enables more efficient filament pressing during hand extrusion, providing better grip and increased force output. For visual aesthetics alone, I chose to seal off the backside of the component. Print settings for this model: The parts were printed using ABS from Prototype Supply at a layer height of 0.2mm. A combination of two external perimeters with a moderate infill density of 25% helped achieve structural stability and a smooth finish. Slicing was done in Simplify 3D, taking approximately 30 minutes to complete.
