Rostock 608zz slot-on Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
Hello! This is a simple belt tensioner designed specifically for the classic Rostock 3D Printer and its derivatives like the Rostock Mini. It was created by stripping some mass from the stock idler end STL, courtesy of Johann Rocholl's brilliant design. As a result, you can easily attach it to the rods with minimal hassle. This is perfect for eliminating belt slack. Additional components needed: - M8 x 50mm Hex Bolt: 1 - M8 Hex nut: 1 - 608zz bearings: 2 To take it a step further, consider using flanged F608ZZ to contain the belt and a nyloc nut. However, standard parts have worked so far.
