The Rossi RR45 grinder is a top-notch commercial burr coffee grinder that's easily found pre-owned for under $100. The main issue is the large capacity hopper, which can hold almost three pounds of beans, making it too bulky to fit on most kitchen counters - ideally underneath cabinets. This modified hopper design is slightly narrower than standard and shorter in height, allowing it to store just over one pound of fresh coffee beans while still fitting comfortably under your kitchen cabinets. The included lid requires a bit of sanding for a tight fit. To make the lid removable and easy to lay on top, print it at 101% or 102% scale. The walls are built thick to withstand daily use as a coffee grinder, matching the thickness of the original hopper. Printing time is considerable, but the end result is well worth it. Using 30% cubic infill resulted in an extremely rigid and strong product. To print this design successfully, place the large side of the hopper facing down and omit supports altogether. Brims were employed to ensure a secure bond with the bed during the lengthy printing process.
