Rosie's left femur from a penguin specimen, identified as Sequiwaimanu rosieae, is housed at Canterbury Museum with accession number 2016.6.1. Emma Holvast, Simone Giovanardi, and Daniel Thomas of the School of Natural and Computational Sciences at Massey University created a digital replica using an HP SLS-3 3D scanner with HP 3D scan 5 software, while post-processing in Blender 2.8x. The longest axis of this bone measures 109 mm.
