Rosh Hashana Honey Jar

Rosh Hashana Honey Jar

thingiverse

Every year on Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, a time-honored tradition involves dipping apples in honey. A special prayer is recited, and a heartfelt request is made to G-d for a happy and sweet new year. The apple and honey serve as potent symbols of a desirable new year. I am currently teaching a course on the evolution of ritual items in various religions, and this topic falls within its scope. Although still under development, it's an exciting aspect of the curriculum. I opted to use a container made from Oui yogurt for measuring purposes due to concerns about consuming products manufactured from PLA, which can be difficult to clean.
