Ctesiphon, known as the "South-Building," is an ancient structure located in Iraq that dates back to the 6th century. Its exterior walls are made of stucco, a type of plaster often used in ancient architecture. The double-sided stucco disk at Ctesiphon showcases identical decorations on both sides, surrounding a central opening. The design features six heart-shaped elements known as palmettes and a band adorned with elongated beads. This striking motif can be found in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.
