Rose Sphere from Octogram

As I pondered the intricate geometry of the rose window at New York City's Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, my mind began wandering to a formal language derived from a 2D drawing of an octagram. This creative process involved the manipulation of revolutions, boolean intersections, and splits, resulting in this unique model. The design relies on two key components, which work together to generate the spherical shape – both elements are clearly visible as they radiate outward from the central point.
