This character is envisioned in a post-apocalyptic nuclear winter Brazil, specifically designed for a high-profile contest held during the Topia Event 2020. The design draws heavily from the works of Sergi Brosa, Akira, and Mad Max, pushing boundaries with its intricate topology and textures. In this instance, visual impact takes precedence over usability, resulting in a design that is both striking and complex. A sculpt was used as the foundation for designing and conceptualizing the character, directly exported from Zbrush into Substance without optimization or refinement. Although not optimized, the model effectively conveys the intended ideas, with a focus on aesthetics rather than technical topology. Retopology and rigging will be addressed in subsequent iterations, yielding a more polished and refined version of the design.
