Rose Quartz's Sword
thingiverse
I fixed some files from the original that had errors and remixed them to remove blocks holding parts together. The big difference between this post and the other remix is that I removed old joints. Some rebar from a local store should work fine, with a maximum width of approximately 11mm. My own rebar was nominally around 9mm, but it actually measured 10mm at its thinnest point and 11mm on its edges, so be sure to know what you have. The hole goes through the handle since I disliked the idea of attaching it only with glue and epoxy. The holes in Blade parts 2/3 and 4 are slightly elliptical for this reason, but they shouldn't cause any problems. Depending on your printer's tolerance, you may need some force to slide them onto the rebar, but if it works that way, you'll never have to worry about it coming apart. The total length of the hole within is 908mm. You can add to this without making larger parts by stretching the handle a tad since it's the smallest part with the hole, or shrink it by shrinking the large center blade portions or omitting them altogether.
