Rose Holder
prusaprinters

A friend at work asked me if I could print a stand for a painted rose sculpture he had. I said sure, just give me a drawing of what you have in mind. He did, and not finding anything on Thingiverse that would fit what he needed, I designed it in 123D Design.

It's a simple V-shaped holder with a dome base. It could be scaled to make it suitable for pens, pencils or other long tubular objects.

Printed in Polyalchemy Elixir Abyss filament. That stuff really has a great shine. No post-printing work needed.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Printrbot

Printer:

Printrbot Plus

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

25%

Filament: Polyalchemy Elixir PLA Abyss

Notes:

The arm angle is 45 degrees so most people should be able to print without supports.

How I Designed This ===================
Designed with the no-longer-supported Autodesk 123d Design. I really need to buckle down and learn a newer CAD program.

Category: Organization
