This is a derivation of 'Rose' by Bratskbars. Initially, the original STL file contained 13 intersecting meshes which rendered it non-sliceable for traditional methods. A creative workaround was devised by utilizing 3DCoat to transform these meshes into voxels and successfully fill in the back void. Subsequently, the entire object was exported as a high-quality printable STL. For further processing, Blender played a pivotal role in isolating the flower and leaf components from each other. With the necessary divisions achieved, 3DCoat was employed once again to import both meshes, effectively voxelizing them and filling the persistent back hole through targeted modifications. Moreover, it cleverly utilized boolean operations to eliminate the areas of intersection between leaves and flower. After this intricate procedure, the distinct objects - the flower and leaves - were each successfully exported as perfect sliceables. The comprehensive instructions on utilizing 3DCoat for 3D printing tasks have been extensively covered in episode 107 of the popular '3D Printing Today' podcast, including subsequent discussions, and are highly recommended.
