I crafted this commemorative lithophane to pay tribute to civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks (1913-2005). She was detained in 1955 for refusing to relinquish her seat on a public bus to a white passenger, and her arrest ignited the successful, year-long Montgomery Bus Boycott. I utilized Image to Lithophane at http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ (a platform I generously support) to create the lithophane. To view my step-by-step process, visit https://www.robmorrill.com/lithophanes. I designed the background pattern in Tinkercad's Codeblocks coding environment, then imported it as a Part into their standard CAD software for further refinement and optimization with the lithophane.
