Coney Island Scan-A-Rama was unveiled at Danbury Makerfaire on June 8, 2013, marking the public debut of its new scanning rig, the Scan-O-Tron 3000. The scans from the booth, obtained using ReconstructMe and an Xbox Kinect, have been impressive. The creator intends to launch a Kickstarter campaign for Scan-A-Rama and will open source the scanning rig's plans. Be on the lookout for the portable 3D portrait studio at more MakerFaires and Coney Island in 2013. To learn more or order prints, visit http://www.thegreatfredini.com/scan-a-rama.
