Rope quick release
prusaprinters

I needed a way to get climbing ropes out of sight for a play and came up with this simple design. The rope can be clipped in so it's out of the way, just a tug on the rope releases it when it's time to use it.

I used PLA+ with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill and it works well. Not sure how just using screws will depress the PLA over time.

EDIT: The PLA didn't last long, the rope got loose within two weeks. I'm printing some with PETG at the moment and will update when I've tested it some more.
