Rope Pull Handle

Rope Pull Handle

This is a pull handle that boasts a sturdy 2-finger grip and a reliable .25-inch diameter through-hole. To create mine, I opted for 100% infill using PLA filament and bypassed support structures altogether. My decision to go with solid fill was twofold: firstly, PLA's properties made it an ideal choice; secondly, this pull handle will be subjected to heavy use when employed to maneuver a substantial attic door. If you're working with PETG or more resilient materials, you might get away with reduced infill percentages. For optimal layer strength, I recommend printing this design in its current flat orientation. While omitting support structures yielded acceptable results – albeit with some minor imperfections on the lower beveled layer – I would advocate for incorporating supports in future prints, especially around the through-hole.
