Rope knot clamp lock for secure hard-stops against eyescrews, pulleys, etc.
prusaprinters
This is roughly inspired by a "SlipKnot Adjustable Rope Clamp", but is able to fit over a knot in the rope instead.Think of it like a fortified/inflexible inline knot in the rope.I am using this to limit the travel of a rope through some pulleys (using a trailer winch to lift a canoe to my garage ceiling).I am using M2 self-tapping screws to hold this together, but you can alternately use zip-ties.Includes one for half-inch rope, and another for quarter-inch rope, although they should work for a fair range outside of that as well.2 identical parts needed for each knot cover.
