Root Propagation ball
cults3d
Saw an ad for a root propagation ball, and after searching for a 3d printable version, All I could find were ones that required support material, or would be tricky to print because of interlocking ridges. So, I decided to design my own that could be printed without supports. Print the file 2x. Strip a ring of bark off a branch that is up to 20mm in diameter. Fill each half of the print with desired growing medium and fasten around the stripped branch using zip ties or bolts up to 6mm (preferably stainless). When roots have formed in the soil, trim off the branch, remove the ball, and plant in the ground.
