ROOT Board Game Organizer - Faction Cards and Ruins
thingiverse
This is an addition to the the existing Root organizer by pundawful (Thanks so much! I love it!). There are two sets of parts included: ==== Faction Card Holders: - CardBox_Windows_Eyrie.stl - CardBox_Windows_Vagabond.stl - CardBox_Windows_Moles.stl - CardBox_Windows_Misc.stl Print the original RootUW_Card_Part1 as-is. You do NOT need Part2, as these boxes will take up that space instead. If you printed the original combined box, then you'll need to reprint just Part1. This allows you to group all faction pieces by color (as you'll see in my Make). These boxes should print upright without any skirt. The Eyrie and Mole boxes are skinny, but I didn't have any problem printing them on my Ender3. I used a heated bed to avoid any curling on the corners. The windows are curved to avoid too much bridging. I originally had full cutouts, but that made it hard to grab these without pulling the cards out. The windows are cute because they show the heads of the characters peeking through :) I could provide some no-window ones if anyone wants them. ==== Ruins tray I wanted a place to put the Ruins pieces and be able to put it with the base-game pieces (and not mix them into the Vagabond parts). Option 1: - DiceBox_Ruins_Top.stl - Use the bottom from the original Thing (RootUW__DiceBottomNoStep.stl) Option 2: - DiceBox_Ruins_Top.stl - DiceBox_Bottom_WithLedge.stl For Option 1, you can put the tray into the original box. It will sit on top the dice ok. For Option 2, I added an interior "ledge" to match how all the other faction boxes hold their trays. This will completely replace the original box.
