THIS IS A REMIX Originators: Crick60 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3838117, Jimmac: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3604322 I manipulated their work to fit my needs, making significant changes but still giving credit where it's due. See the remix in action: https://youtu.be/1dK0xlMdcw8 Printing info: V1: Slice with the back of GoPro housing flush to the print bed. Rotate 99 degrees for a perfect fit (90 degrees may not work). I used Sainsmart TPU and my settings are optimal. What I did: 1) Rotated the GoPro housing -9 degrees, making a total of -10 degrees. This positions the camera at 25 degrees, ideal for FPV flying. 2) Swapped smaller dampener arms to the front and larger to the back for improved performance. 3) Added SDCard Door Opening for convenience – no more removing the GoPro from its housing! 4) Various geometry fixes and mesh cleanups enabled manipulation 1-3 and better slicing results. V2 was a failure, so I scrapped it. !!! V3 !!! Implemented these improvements: 5) Fixed STL orientation for optimal printing. 6) Reinforced the base with nylon zip ties to secure the CF plate in case of a crash. Raised fins on the V3 base keep the ties in place. 7) Redesigned the entire base, making screw access straightforward and hassle-free. 8) Use 10mm foam (from tattu lipo packaging) under the camera for effective dampening. Fold it into a smaller square and insert it as shown in pictures – a proper spring-damper system is born!
