Rooster - Celebrating Chinese New Year 2017

This is a static(non-moving) 3D print of a Rooster to celebrate the Chinese New Year of 2017. The design will stand up on its own two legs for decorative purposes. Two versions (.stls) have been provided, a standard / basic version and a reduced size key fob version. The standard / basic version is just the simple Rooster and measures approximately 57.5mm x 82.5mm x 9mm. At this scale, the designed-in decorative detail should be clean and clear when printed on a well-set-up machine with a good slicing app (Refer images). Scaling down will reduce the amount of visible detail in the print. Scaling up should be no problem. The key fob version is approximately 30% smaller (45mm x 55mm x 8mm) than the standard / basic version to make it a practical size for use on a key ring and so it will still fit comfortably in a pocket. However, this reduces the amount of visible detail in the print. You can scale up X / Y uniformly (not Z) if you want a bigger Rooster. Print in your choice of color and scale up if required. Scaling down is not recommended. You can make your Rooster two colors if you want by pausing the print at 1.0 - 1.5mm in and 1.0 - 1.5mm before the end. Just watch the print as it progresses, and the formation of the detail makes it easy to determine suitable times to change colors.
