The Elevate stand is great, but it doesn't accommodate laptops thicker than 0.75 inches. A laptop with a bottom edge over 1 inch will either not fit or seem to fit but then slide out and fall. The design changes the plastic clips on each side that clamp the laptop in place. It's a simple print job and the pieces can be replaced easily. This modification has been approved by Elevate Industries for use in open source projects.
