Custom Plates Designed to Safeguard Robot Vacuum Cleaners from Entanglement with HM Aeron Office Chairs. To prevent robot vacuum cleaners from getting stuck under HM Aeron office chairs, I created custom plates that can be printed using PETG with no support required. This approach results in some minor deformation on the curved sections but significantly simplifies post-processing and saves print time. The chair legs taper, which is why this part was designed to fit just clear of the castors. If the fit is too tight, try moving down the legs a bit. I have yet to test this geometry in PLA. Further optimization is possible to remove excess material and potentially reduce print time.
