Roomba robot vacuum base charging contact holder
prusaprinters
The charging contacts on some of the bases for the Roomba robot vacuums seem to be prone to overheating and then the plastic part melts and squishes sideways - then the robot won't charge any more. This is a replacement bit of plastic for the metal contact to fix to. The metal clips over, the little plastic nubbin sticks through the hole then you can use a soldering iron to melt the plastic nubbin so it holds the metal contact in place.Fusion file included so you can tweak things if required - but it seems to have fixed the bad charging base which I just bought from ebay :)
