Roomba owners rave about its incredible autonomous vacuum capabilities, but a nagging problem persists: getting stuck under low-hanging items like refrigerators is a common occurrence. To overcome this issue, a set of sleek bumpers has been designed to perfectly complement Roomba's existing infrared (IR) sensor in terms of height and diameter. Installing these bumpers on top of Roomba effectively prevents it from getting wedged under obstacles. For optimal results, experts recommend using four bumpers and spacing them roughly 3 inches apart from the primary IR sensor. By doing so, Roomba is free to roam without worrying about becoming stuck in tight spots. The bumpers themselves are surprisingly easy to attach – a tiny drop of acetone is all it takes. With these simple yet ingenious additions, Roomba's performance is boosted, and users can enjoy seamless cleaning experiences with minimal interference from stubborn appliances.
