My brothers German Shepherd unleashed its wrath upon his Roomba, sending the dustbin's button flying in a mangled mess. Undaunted, I seized the broken component and set out to recreate it, using my Roomba as a test subject. After disassembling the device, I identified the essential components and began to craft a replacement, carefully crafting each detail to ensure seamless integration with the rest of the machine. The result is a sturdy, functional button that clips securely onto the dustbin of my Roomba 980, and likely earlier models as well, restoring its suction power to full effect.
