I replaced the damaged brush by building a new part that sucked up something, causing it to stick, and the original plastic melted away. To create this replacement, I printed it upside down and didn't bother cleaning it up because only the insides need to be smooth. After popping the brass pin from the old one into the new one, my roomba was back in working order.
