This is a custom-made cover for the red brush assembly, specifically designed for the Roomba 500 series. I'm using it on my Roomba 530, but keep in mind that there are various brush assemblies available for these models, so your experience may differ slightly. This cover should fit perfectly with the Red model and also work well with the Black one, although the screw holes may require some minor adjustments. However, I haven't tested it with the green assembly, so proceed with caution. I created this design because my red brush assembly was overheating and melting the plastic around the brass bushing. To ensure smooth operation, make sure to apply a generous amount of grease while you're in there. You may need to make some slight modifications to get the best results.
