Rook Chess Piece

Simple rook designed with precision using SketchUp software features. Two versions exist: one solid and another incorporating internal staircase elements along with partial top platform additions. Each time a fresh color of filament becomes available, I print a duplicate model from the same gcode file. This proves to be an excellent test due to the fact that any variations in quality can solely be attributed to the characteristics of the used filament material itself. The ambient temperature within the room at the moment of printing also yields noticeable differences, but unfortunately, this aspect is not always subject to my control.
