Rooidoppen
thingiverse
These ancient potato farming tools were used in the 1930s and 1940s. They required manual excavation, which often left farmers' fingers severely damaged. To mitigate this issue, small tin covers were designed to fit over fingertips. To ensure a secure fit without enlarging the exterior size, I adjusted the diameter for each finger individually. The best approach is to start printing, allow it to complete a few layers, and then pause when a small ring forms. At that point, test the fit on your finger and make adjustments as needed. This design could potentially be repurposed for gardening or even serve as a unique feature for an underground lifestyle. If you decide to use this design or have any suggestions for improvement, please share them with me.
