A roof top mount pad for light bars using rubber blind anchors like the one shown. the pad helps to stabilize the bracket in the rubber mount and keep its intended alignment. using the rubber blind anchors has the advantage of installation without damaging the interior headliner. they also make a good water tight seal in the mount hole though the roof. just be careful when drilling to only go through the metal and no further. ( can be two layers of metal in some applications.) nothing can be seen from inside when done right. The center hole in the pad is 10mm to accommodate the head of the anchor. The underside of the pad has a slight concave curvature to accommodate the curvature of the roof; the ABS should flex just enough to flatten as needed when you tighten the mount.
