Roof Rack for mBot (Makeblock)
thingiverse
My classroom is equipped with Makeblock mBots, so I took the initiative to design a roof rack. The holes are spaced 16mm apart, which is standard for all Makeblock parts. I'm open to modifying this design in any way needed. Currently, I'm considering recessing the mounting holes, removing the excess material and covering the top with LEGO bumps, but we'll see. The notch at the front allows easy access to the button and lights. To create this project, you will need the following materials: M4 Standoff Spacers, which are 25mm in length. I believe a minimum of 20 is required, but be aware that using less may result in hitting the LEGO bumps on the roof. You can find these on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3PHK1Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A1THAZDOWP300U&psc=1. This design was created with Tinkercad, and you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iYF6OhPuCKy.
