Adjust your layers to make the filler struts solid by specifying a thickness of 1.8 millimeters for them. I ran three top, three bottom, and two side perimeters with a nozzle diameter of 0.45 millimeters. You'll need to install a stainless steel screw with a head size of four millimeters and a length of forty millimeters on each end of the parts to secure the end caps in place. A self-tapping feature will make this easy.
