Roll Forming is a continuous process where a long strip of sheet metal, typically coiled steel, is continuously bent into the desired cross-section shape. A strip passes through a series of stands, each equipped with sets of rolls that only contribute to an incremental part of the bend. Eventually, the desired cross-sectional profile is achieved. Roll Forming is perfect for making constant-profile parts that are long in length and can be produced in big quantities.
