Ronin S phone mount

This is a mounting solution designed specifically for active tracking with Ronin S gimbals, ensuring better performance overall. Mounting a phone on a camera hot shoe proved to be quite challenging due to the high positioning of the phone, making it difficult to achieve balance. By bringing the phone down closer to the camera, alignment issues are greatly reduced and the camera-to-phone connection is made more precise. Additionally, attaching the phone directly to the Ronin makes camera removal significantly easier compared to mounting the phone on the camera itself. A screw from the Ronin S kit was used for the print mount, which is actually the same type of screw that secures the side plate in place. It appears there were a few extras available. Before attaching any phone mount, simply tighten the nut first to adjust the final angle and secure the phone mount firmly into place. Any standard phone mount with threads can be utilized for this setup, making it easy to get started.
