Romulan Capsize class

Romulan Capsize class

A beautifully crafted replica of the Romulan Capsize class ship model, designed and created using TinkerCAD at an impressive 1/2000 scale. The main hull was carefully shaped with the tangent ogive tool, while the surface finish is slightly rough due to my Monoprice printer's capabilities. Perhaps you'll achieve better results. To print this intricate design, I divided it into two parts: first, orient the model vertically, pointing upwards, and adjust your slicer to slice off the bottom portion at the step-down in the primary hull. This will yield three distinct parts: the forward hull and two nacelle pieces situated ahead of the pylons. Once you've printed the initial section, flip the model over, deduct the cut-off value from the total length, reset your slicer to the new limit, and print the rear half. Afterward, secure the parts together using CA adhesive. Finally, smooth out any imperfections with sandpaper, prime the surface, and apply a vibrant coat of paint!
