Romano-British kiln phase 2
sketchfab
Archaeologists stumbled upon a Romano-British pottery kiln while conducting work connected to the Southern Strategic Support Main, a 31 km water pipeline stretching from Barrow Gurney in North Somerset to Cheddar in Somerset. The kiln consisted of two structures: an outer kiln and a smaller inner one built within it. At this point, experts believe that the secondary structure was constructed to reach higher firing temperatures, but further analysis is required to fully grasp the construction and utilization of the kiln.\nThe project's details can be found at http://www.wessexarch.co.uk/projects/SSSM
