Romano-British kiln phase 1
sketchfab
Archaeologists uncovering a Romano-British pottery kiln while constructing the Southern Strategic Support Main water pipeline, a 31-kilometer long pipe that connects Barrow Gurney in North Somerset to Cheddar in Somerset. The kiln consists of two distinct structures: an outer kiln and a smaller inner kiln built within it. It's likely that this design was implemented to achieve increased firing temperatures, but further examination is required to fully grasp the construction methods and purpose behind this ancient structure.
